Abstract
An analog electronic speed governor for a diesel generator is improved into a multifunctional speed governor which is based on S3C2440 ARM9 and embedded operating system Linux, using the tool of device drivers and Qt/Embedded. Experimental results show that the new electronic speed governor can govern speed, monitor the diesel generator and manage data effectively.
