Abstract
Fischer-Tropsch synthesis is one of the most important technologies for syngas to liquid. The activity and selectivity for catalysts are key factors in this process. At present, there are mainly two kinds of catalysts, Fe-based and Co-based ,for it. Fe-based catalysts have lower cost but higher WGS activity ,compared with Co-based catalysts. The characteristic and development of Fe-based catalysts are reviewed, and then the factors affecting the activity and selectivity of catalysts are analysed.
