Abstract
Objective:To evaluate the relationship between liver pathohistological and clinical features of 171 cases chronic hepatitis B patients with HBV DNA positive. Methods:One hundred and seventy-one patients were divided into 4 groups according to the ALT: group A ALT ≤ 0.5 × ULN,group B 0.5 × ULN ALT ≤ 1 × ULN,group C 1 × ULN ALT ≤ 2 × ULN,group D 2 × ULN ALT ≤ 5 × ULN,grade of liver inflammation and stage of liver fibrosis were compared in the four groups.Liver pathohistological and clinical characteristics were analysed among 171 patients.Results:Twenty-five per cent group A patients had G2 hepatitis,16.4% group B and 49.2% group C had G2~3 hepatitis.Liver inflammation G2~G3 detection ratio increased from group A to group D,and there were significant differences among the four groups(P0.05).AST,GGT,PLT and APRI were statistically different in liver inflammation,as well as in stage of liver fibrosis(P0.05).With the aggravating of liver fibrosis, the ages,Glo,Alb,HBV DNA level,HBeAg status and APRI were different accordingly(P0.05).Conclusion:Among the chronic HBV infection patiens with HBV DNA positive, there are different degrees of liver inflammation and fibrosis even if serum ALT is normal.Ages,AST,GGT,APRI,HBeAg status and HBV DNA levels are associated with pathohistological changes in these patients.
