Abstract

The field emission display(FED)with carbon nanotube(CNT)emitters was a new flat vacuum device.The basic structures of diode and triode field emission display were introduced.The basic row-line matrix-addressed principle of typical field emission display was given,and the spacer problems of the large-area flat display device were analyzed and discussed.The new flat display technique offers a tremendous opportunity to cut manufacturing costs and increase the display quality.
