Abstract

Objective To analyze and detect the contents of nine kinds of metallic elements in the root, stem and leaf of male and female Ginkgo biloba L..Methods A flame-atomic absorption spectrometry with air-acetylene flame was adopted. Results The contents of K,Ca,Zn,Cu,Ni,Co,Cd in the female were higher than those in the male, but the contents of Mg,Fe in the female were lower than those in the male. Conclusion There were differences between female and male in the contents of K,Ca,Mg,Fe,Zn,Cu,Ni,Co,Cd in the root, stem and leaf.
