The present situation and development of lawn science in China

Abstract
The paper reviews the research of main fields in lawn science and points out the priority, the inferiority and the main problems of lawn research in China, such as germplasm resource is abundant but it is urgent for us to preserve, the work of turfgrass breeding is just beginning, it is backward on management of lawn, etc. It also mentions the focal point of future work to promote the development of lawn science.
