Abstract
Kunuguanshi was a small tribe in North China in the period of Wei and Jin dynasties. There are two different records: one says that the tribe belonged to Wuhuan and the other to Tuhe. After some textual research the author of this paper holds that it belonged to Wuhuan. As to Tuhekushi and Tuobakushi in later records of history, it only shows the constant changes in the names of the tribes and clans of the minorities in North China in that period, which clearly indicates the national mergence in that period.
