Comprehensive Evaluation of Jiangsu Province Science and Technology Services Competitiveness Based on Factor Analysis

The paper proposes a set of new science and technology service industry evaluation index system,and selects 13 indexes which reflect the scale and level of science and technology service industry,structure and benefit,ability of service of science and technology,industrial development and environment of development of science and technology,to a certain extent,breaking the previous technology service industry competitiveness evaluation index selection limitations. By use of factor analysis model in Jiangsu province,13 prefecture-level city science and technology service industry competitiveness are evaluated,and policy proposal is offered based on the evaluation results from the regional characteristic development perspective on science and technology in Jiangsu province service industry development.
