Abstract
Objective To study the value of MRI in diagnosis and differentiation of neurinoma in vertebral canal. Methods MRI finding of 10 patients with neurinoma in vertebral canal confirmed by pathological examination were analysed retrospectively. Results All 10 patients showed clear morphology and signal characteristics of the neurinoma in vertebral canal. Most cases showed slightly low signal intensity on T1WI and high signal intensity on T2WI.After contrast-medium injection, the lesions were enhanced markedly. Conclusion Precise localization of neurinoma in vertebral canal and careful analysis of MRI features are the key steps in the diagnosis of neurinoma in vertebral canal.
