Undergraduates' Sense of Social Responsibility: Investigation and Improving Measures——Based on the Survey of 1500 Undergraduates in 10 Universities of Hangzhou

Undergraduates' Sense of Social Responsibility(USOSR) being strong or weak directly influences whether they can be virtuous people beneficial to society and main forces in developing socialist cause.This paper is based on the survey among the undergraduates in 10 universities of Hangzhou with 7 aspects,such as sense of responsibility regarding individuality,others,profession,collectivity,nation and environment.The survey result shows that the main trend of current undergraduates has a stronger sense of social responsibility,but with obvious egoism and weak political participation.Higher education should focus on the ideal and belief,while strengthening undergraduate education regarding practice,current politics,capability and quality as well as mental health.
