Abstract

The basic GA(genetic algorithm) has some problems such as the poor ability of local search,the abundant calculated quantity,and the poor ability for searching big space and constrict in local minimum easily etc.Experiment proves that to mix the EO(extremal optimization) algorithm into GA could improve the above defects.
