Abstract
A series of zeolite ZSM-5 as catalysts for the selective isomerization reaction of n- butene were studied. The results show that zeolite ZSM- 5 catalysts have good activity and selectivity to this reaction. The zeolite ZSM-5 catalyst modified by Ⅰ can enhance the activity for this reaction.Structural characterization demonstrated that a part of skeletal structure of ZSM-5 catalyst modified by Ca is destroyed. The adsorption and reaction of 2- butene on zeolite ZSM-5 catalyst were studied by infrared spectroscopy.2-butene can be adsorbed on the catalyst. With the increase of temperature 1 butene can be detected on the surface of catalyst. It is dissociatively adsorbed on the catalyst. Then, isobutene and propene can be found by GC, they can not be adsorbed on the catalyst.
