Determination of Puerarin in Radix Puerariae Effervescent Tablet

Abstract

Puerarin in Radix Puerariae Effervescent Tablets was determined by RP-HPLC with the mobile phase of methanol∶water=25∶75(V/V,adjusted to pH 3. 0 with phosphoric acid) and a Venusil MP-C18 colum(150mm×4.6 mm;5μm) at 250nm.The calibration curve of puerarin showed good linearity in the range of 5.0—100.0μg/mL with a regression equation of y=4.60×104x-1.19×105 ,(r=0.9994).The recovery of puerarin is 97.56%.The method is simple, sensitive and accurate.It can be use for the quality control of health products.
