Liu Qing-bang's novels are imbued with Taoist implications.Whether it is in the sincere intimity with nature,or in the exhibition of the simple humanity,Liu's novels are penetrated with the Taoist inclination of adoring the nature.His realist criticism of the materialistic world and the distorted human nature arouses people's earnest longing for the life state of Lao Zi and Zhuang Zi,and his feminist writing is in harmony with the Taoist cultural heritage of female worship.
