Abstract
It is the purpose of the paper to discuss the problem of ground surface subsidence due to underground mining.According to the theory of rock rheology mechanics, the theoretical model for the prediction and analysis of the ground surface subsidence is given. The agreement of the theoretical results with the filed measurements shows that the model is satisfactory and the formulae obtained are vaild and thus can be effectively used for predicting the ground surface subsidence due to underground mining.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
