Abstract
Objective To analyze the CT characteristics of congenital malformation of external, middle and inner ear. Methods The categories of 28 cases (32 ears) external malformation combined with middle and inner ear malformations were observed with HRCT.Results The external ear malformation included the external atresia (part of soft tissue atresia),external stenosis and could combined with malformation of auditory ossicles, tympanic cavity and mondini′s inner ear. Conclusion The reliable image data of congenital malformation of external, middle and inner ear could be obtained from HRCT.HRCT might supply the effective basis for selection of clinical therapy methods and assessment of prognosis.
