Effect of Segregation on Moisture Stability of Asphalt Concrete Pavement

Abstract

Simulated segregation gradation and gradation segregation coupled with compaction segregation mixtures are designed to test the moisture stability.Thus suggestions are given on gradation control in asphalt mixture production and spreading from the point of view of keeping mixture moisture stability.With gradation test and non-nuclear density gauge test,spreading segregation and compaction segregation rules of AC-25 asphalt mixture are given in this paper.
