Abstract

Objective To evaluate the therapeutic effect and the clinical practicability of superficial femoral vein with ring in the treatment of primary deep venous insufficiency(PVDI).Methods Twelve limbs in twelve patients who were proved to be PDVI were treated by superficial femoral vein with ring. And they were also treated by the high ligation and ablation of great saphenous vein, ablation of superficial veins and ligation of perforator vein at the same time. Results The symptoms of all patients were alleviated with an average follow-up for 20 months.Caseswith ulcer were healed completely and no recurred. Conclusion Primary deep venous insufficiency treated by superficial femoral vein with ring is satisfaction.
