Teaching of College English Reading and Cultivation of Students' Innovative Thinking

Abstract

Innovative thinking,the core of innovative ability,can only be improved by special training.To meet the needs of the cultivation of innovative talents,the teaching of college English reading should regard the cultivation of students' innovative thinking as one of its objectives.This paper tries to explore the approaches to cultivating students' innovative thinking through the change of teachers' concept of teaching and students' concept of learning,diversifying the methods and means of teaching and learning,and innovating the evaluation system.
