On the Current Values of the Harmony Culture of Chinese Confucianism and Taoism

There are abundant ideas about harmony in Chinese traditional culture.Taoism stresses the(harmonious) relationship between the human and the nature,which has its profundity as well as passivity and limitation.Now we are constructing our harmonious society,and Taoistic harmony ideas can be used for reference to settle the problem of dealing with the relationship between the human and the nature.Confucianism pays more attention to the harmonious relationship between social members.For instance,its social order concept ——harmonious and different,is a vivid description of different groups satisfied in their status in a harmonious society.Therefore,Confucian harmony ideas should be our rethinking resources for coping with the relationship (between) different interests groups during the construction of our harmonious society.
