A Practical Exploration into the Construction of a New Socialist Countryside——With Former Juchao District of Chaohu as an Example

Construction of a new socialist countryside is a significant historical task of CPC.Due to the unified deployment of the District Party Committee and District Government,the cooperation among the different social departments and the unremitting efforts of the masses,the new socialist countryside construction of Juchao District from April 2006 to the end of 2010 obtained evident progress,with four demonstrative village of new socialist countryside having been constructed.Meanwhile there also exist some problems and deficiencies in the new countryside construction process.Thus it is essential to timely sum up experiences,finding insufficiencies and exploring a new path to further the work better.Through an analysis of and investigation into the problems,under the premise that government would take the leading role,farmers act as the principal part,and the will of farmers would be fully respected,the paper suggests to develop the great new socialist rural construction project through progressively implementing the agricultural marketization,citizenization of farmers and rural basic public service equalization.
