Abstract
The vibration mode and natural frequency of machine's frame are closely related to its resonance phenomena. In order to improve the quality of sheet metal stamping, raise the lifespan of punch and die,and reduce vibration or avoid resonance,a vibration modal analysis for JG21-compressor's frame is made by using the finite element software ANSYS.The first five vibration modes, the corresponding natural frequencies, and the corresponding strain distribution diagrams are obtained. Some problems that should be noted in compressor frame's design and analysis and in compressor's operation are summarized through the analysis of the characteristics of the vibration modes.
