Joseph Nye's concept of soft power belongs to the scope of the international political level.In fact,soft power has to,first of all,emphasizes the level of domestic building.As a core element of soft power,culture is closely related to the building of new countrysides,and the role of cultural soft power in the building of new rural areas is apparently increasing.At present,cultural construction in rural areas still has a lot of problems and shortcomings.On the whole,it lags behind economic and social development in rural areas.To develop cultural soft power in rural areas is an inevitable choice in the process of building a new socialist countryside.
