Abstract
Objective:To seek a more effective treatment on the chronic pelvic inflammatory disease than the traditional methods. Methods:The patients were divided into 3 groups, Group A (n=36) was treated through pelvic, indwelling catheterization with “盆腔炎注射液” (a kind of Chinese patent medicine ), group B (n=33) was given the antibiotic through pelvic indwelling catheterization, and group C (n=34) was given antibiotic intravenously, then the clinical effects in each group were evaluated. Results:The rates of healing and the pelvic inflammatory mass extinction in group A were significantly higher than those of the group C (P0.01) , while there were no difference between the rates of the group A and the group B(P0.05); The rates in group B were significantly higher than those of the group C (P0.05); There was no complications or adverse effect observed. Conclusions:The pelvic indwelling catheterization was a more attractive method for the treatment of CPID.
