Analysis of Group Psychological Counseling Model

Group psychological counseling is a counseling form to provide psychological guidance and assistance in of in group environments. According to such four forces as leaders of groups,technology,motivation and participants of groups,three dominant modes in group counseling can be constructed,namely,the group dominated by tutor’s ability,the group dominated by group technology and the group dominated by group power. Among them,the group dominated by tutor’s ability focuses on the treatment and crisis intervention,the group dominated by group technology focuses on group technology applications,the group dominated by group power focuses on the individual’s psychological development. Group counseling model is characterized by its practicality,professionalizing, operation,localization,systematizing,and profundity and the psychological circles and users have attached importance to it whether in the form of consulting or advisory effect.
