Abstract
In the process of leading the Reform and Opening as well as modernizing construction in China, Deng Xiao-ping Theory had steadily extended the theoretical connotation of the principle of seeking truth from facts. The theory takes emancipating mind as a premise to seeking truth from facts, making the action of “seeking unceasingly tracing the constantly changeful “facts, so as to acquire new results of knowledge. It also puts the criterion of practice, which is regarded as the starting point of seeking truth from facts, into the ideological line of the Communist Party of China, and applied the criterion to the practice of Reform and Opening.
