Abstract
Advances and classification of evaluation methods of pozzolanic activity of pozzolanic materials in cement or concrete are presented.And influence factors of pozzolanic activity are also analyzed at the same time.Evaluation methods of pozzolanic activity can be categorized as either direct or indirect methods.Direct methods include acid-base dissolution,lime absorption,thermal analysis,and indirect methods include pozzolanic activity index,electrical conductivity,hydration reaction heat.Through analysis of influence factors of pozzolanic activity,it is obtained that pozzolanic materials with smaller particles or with high contents of noncrystalline silicate and aluminate have high pozzolanic activity,and appropriate temperature of heat treatment is in favor of improving pozzolanic activity of some materials.
