Abstract

Occurrence regularity and cause of drought in Tianshui City were studied with multiple factors combination statistical method.The results showed that the damage of soil drought in mid-spring,atmosphere drought in late-spring and soil drought in early-su mmer during the key period of wheat yield formation were the most serious.Atmosphere drought from August to September before sowing of wheat and the drought in March(from turning green stage to jointing stage of winter wheat) in the second year also could lead to wheat yield reduction.
