Abstract
Parallel network simulation is an important method in network research. However, due to the hardware resources constraints, the network simulation tools are unable to complete large-scale network simulation.Increasing the simulation of abstraction can reduce resources and improve the performance, and its basic idea is to streamline the model of network simulation. For increasing the size of topology in parallel network simulation, this paper presents a simplified topology algorithm, which abstracts the entire host and some routers of the topology to improve the performance of parallel network simulation.
