Abstract
The Middle Route Project of South-to-North Water Transfer Project was taken as an application area for water resources optimal operation by using WROOM model proposed by the authors.Firstly the generalization guide of water resources system was suggested based on the characteristics of the project.Furthermore,five schemes were given by adopting various optimization method,with giving priority to water supply and whether agriculture and ecology or not to be considered the analysis of the schemes,the characteristics of schemes could be explained clearly,and the results are helpful for realtime operation of the project.
