Abstract
Based on class II investigation to forest resources of Yipinglang forest farm of Yunnan province in 2006,the forest landscape classification and succession were analyzed with the help of TWINSPAN(two-way indicators species analysis) and ArcInfo. The results showed that four landscape types were made at the spatial scale of the study area after 11 times divided by TWINSPAN.The succession grads was Cyclobalanopsis glaucoides and Castanopsis orthacantha broad-leaved mixed forests landscape,Lithocarpus dealbatus broadleaved mixed forests landscape, coniferous and broadleaf mixed forest landscape, mountain semi-humid evergreen broad-leaved forests landscape.
