The next twenty or thirty years will be a crucial period for the development of Chinese private universities,and how private university sponsors should objectively perceive the number of restricting factors is worth exploring.Characteristics of running private colleges,family-style management of private universities,decrease of school-age population for higher education,the development of independent colleges,standard raising for running private universities,implementation of fair treatment for private and public universities,faster entry of overseas universities into Chinese higher education market,and other factors are of great concern to the future development of private universities.
