Abstract
Objective To explore the clinical application of 64-slice spiral CT angiography(CTA) and DSA in internal carotid artery stenosis. Methods 203 patients were clinically diagnosed as anterior circulation ischemia, they were examined by 64SCTA,97 patients of them were examined by DSA.The results of CTA were compared with the that of DSA,the sensitivity and specificity of CTA and DSA were figured out. Results 181 patients of 203 patients examined by CTA were internal carotid artery stenosis.97 patients examined by DSA were internal carotid artery stenosis. The diagnostic sensitivity and specificity of CTA and DSA were all 100%.Conclusion 64SCTA can demonstrate the changes of internal carotid artery,it can replace DSA in certain fields.
