Research and Application of Constructed Wetland in Rural Domestic Sewage Treatment

With the development of new socialist countryside construction in China,rural environmental management work is steadily unfolding.As an important part of environmental management,rural wastewater treatment is affected by economic conditions and other factors.Energy saving constructed wetland becomes a main choice of rural wastewater treatment technology.The paper reviewed the current researches and projects of constructed wetland for rural wastewater treatment,presented common fillers and plants used in constructed wetland,and summarized and analyzed the operation effect of combined constructed wetland process,muti-stage constructed wetland process and single stage constructed wetland process for rural wastewater treatment.At the same time,the paper analyzed and compared the investment and operating costs of combined constructed wetland process based on the actual wastewater treatment engineering and prospected the focus of attention about this technology in future.
