Application Trend of Tie Dyeing in Garment Design

Tie dyeing is a traditional handle skill.Recently it was largely used in garment design and enrich the art language and expressing way of garment design.Beginning from the relation of tie dyeing and garment design,the application trends of tie dyeing in garment degsign were studied.The behavior of the trend was elaborated from four aspects which are tie-dyeing garments pattern,color,fabric and CAD made pattern.The results showed that it is the development and innovation of the traditional skills through improvement on the basis of conbination traditional handle skills with modern garments and modern technology.
