Clinical Research of Method of Supplementing Qi and Nourishing Yin on the Side Effects of Lung Cancer

Abstract
Objective:To observe the effect of method of supplementing qi and nourishing yin on the side effects of radiotherapy for lung cancer.Methods:62 cases in control group were treated with radiotherapy,and 64 cases in treatment group were treated with radiotherapy and method of supplementing qi and nourishing yin.After radiotherapy,the clinical effects were observed on hemogram,liver function and kidney function,immune function,the assessment and classification of radiation-induced lung injury,toxic reaction of the radiation therapy,and TCM curative effect evaluation.Results:Treatment group did better than control group on TCM curative effect evaluation,the assessment and classification of radiation-induced lung injury,hemogram,liver function and kidney function,immune function,and toxic reaction of radiotherapy(P0.05).Conclusion:Method of supplementing qi and nourishing yin can significantly improve the therapeutic effect of traditional Chinese medicine,to some extent alleviate radiation-induced lung injury,and reduce the toxic side effects of radiotherapy.
