A Comparative Study between Traditional Socialism and the Socialism with Chinese Characteristics

before the 3rd Plenary Session of 11th Party Central Committee,China attempted to build the developed socialism,which could not be achieved.In the period of opening-up and reform,CPC initiated the socialism with Chinese characteristics based on the primary stage of socialism,which enables our socialist cause to develop vigorously.Two types of socialism are bound to take two different roads.The core of the traditional socialism was based on class struggle,implementing the continuing revolution under the proletariat dictatorship,resulting in poor socialism.The essence of the socialism with Chinese characteristics is the reform and development and building our country into a prosperous,democratic and harmonious socialist country.Adherence to the socialist road with Chinese characteristics is truly following the socialism.
