Abstract
With the foam-polymer flooding produced liquid from Shengli Chengdong oilfield as the study object,a series of model oil-simulated water systems with different concentrations of foamer were prepared, the interfacial properties of which were measured by using interfacial tensiometer, interfacial viscoelastometer and Zeta potential instrument.Meanwhile, the effects of the foamer concentrations on interfacial properties and emulsion stability of these systems were investigated. The results indicated that both the interfacial tension and the interfacial shear viscosity between oil and water in the system of model oil and filtered produced water decreased because of suspended solids in the produced water. The interfacial tension between oil and water decreased in the system of model oil and simulated water, and the interfacial shear viscosity increased a little, while the absolute value of the Zeta potential of the surfaces of the oil droplets increased. The stability of W/O and O/W emulsions, both formed by crude oil and simulated water containing foamer, enhanced as the concentration of the foamer increased.
