Abstract
AbstrcatThere is close correlation between Na~+/H~+ Antiporter gene and the salt tolerance of plants. Na~+/H~+ Antiporter protein maintains lower Na~+ level through extruding Na~+ from the cells and compartmentalizing Na~+ into the vacuole, and decreases Na~+ detrimental effect, and thus plays an important role in the salt tolerance of plants.
