Abstract

RAPD,ISSR and SRAP molecular markers were used for cultivar identification and genetic diversity analysis of loose-curd cauliflower cultivars in the southern China.Totally 370 bands were amplified and 238(64.32%) were polymorphic. The SRAP primer,me1/em1,could distinguish all 20 cultivars.Analysis of genetic similarity coefficient showed that loose-curd cauliflower cultivars had a near genetic relationship with the narrow genetic background.Cluster analysis showed that genetic relationship among cultivars and the geographic distribution and maturity were much related. It is indicated that cauliflower cultivar identification and genetic diversity analysis could be conducted effectively with molecular markers and the reliable result could be obtained with multiple molecular marker analysis.
