Abstract
The research on poverty has had more than 100 years' history,and there are significant changes in the concept and measurement of poverty with the deepening of researches and the changing of society.In-depth studies on the concept and measurement of poverty are helpful to promote poverty reduction strategies and measurement choices.So far,according to the content of poverty,its content can be summarized as income poverty,capability poverty and rights poverty.The author observes poverty problems in China based on the evolution of the concept and measurement of poverty.
