Abstract

In order to explore the washing feasibility of HEDP on remediation of Cd contaminated soil, batch and column experiments were conducted to investigate the removal rate of Cd in soil under various operating conditions,including HEDP concentration,ratio of soil to solution,leaching time and times. The results showed that the optimum conditions were as follows:HEDP concentration was 3%,the ratio of soil to solution was 1:3,leaching time was 180min and leaching once can achieve the best removal rate of Cd,HEDP could be used in washing remediation of Cd contaminated soil.
