On the Essence of “Physical Education” Episode III:The Essence and Dilemmas of “Physical Education”

The life of education lies on whether there are people doing it,practicing it,it's hard for us to describe its nature with words.The high paradox between the practicalness and literal expression,is the speciality of education among different fields of human civilization.I prefer to express its nature this way: the essence of education is physical activity,in another sentence,physical education treats physical activity as its own purpose.Thus in technical criteria we can exclude passive activity,self-sufficiency,work,etc which are non-physical-education,and in the criteria of axiology we can purify sports thinking in modern world,keep education as refined as possible.In philosophy,we should cope well with two pairs of dilemmas: First,between the body and soul within a man,which puts as the first? The second,between human and material,which puts as the first? Through thinking it over and over,we will gain some wisdom from the sports reality of our society.
