The Variability of Language in QIAN Zhong-shu's Novels

A great number of use of special language existed in the language law is one of the important content of research in syntax and rhetoric. From the syntax and rhetorical angles, the paper analyzes the variability of language in QIAN Zhong-shu抯 novels by examining the three dimensions, i,e, part of speech, structure of words and expressions and compounding of words and expressions, to show his unique language style, and therefore to illustrate that the combination of syntax and rhetoric is important while analyzing the language style of the literary works.
