Abstract
Objective:To research the practical value and clinical significance aboutre-infusing 0.4ml or 0.2ml normal saline and not infusing normal saline into the empty balloon before extracting Foley catheter on reducing the patients urinary system infection. Method: 71 patients were randomly devided into three groups, experimental group(geoup A),comtrol group (group B、group C). The first urine were collected and monitered the stimulus symptoms of urinary system. Results: The positive rate of urinary cultivation and the stimulus symptoms of urinary system in group A were significantly low that in group B and C (P0.05).Conclufion: The method of re-infusing 0.4 ml normal saline into ernpty balloon befre extracting Foley catheter in the patients patients preserving catheter has reasonabie and can be applied in clinical practice.
