Application of moist exposed burn ointment in the perianalinfection nursing of leukemia patients after chemotherapy

Objective To explore a simple,economic and effective nursing method for the leukemia patients with perianal infection after chemotherapy.Methods Sixty-eighty leukemia patients with perianal infection after chemotherapy were randomly divided into treatment group and control group.The patients in treatment group were given external application of moist exposed burn ointment on the local part,while control group given iodophor hydropathic compress plus microwave irradiation.Meanwhile,inflammation-relieving sitz bath powder was applied in two groups to have a sitz bath.The infectious degree of patients in two groups was compared,and the level of serum C reactive protein(CRP) and clinical effects 7 and 15 d after treatment were compared.Results After treatment,the levels of serum CRP in both groups significantly decreased compared with treatment before;the level of serum CRP 7 and 15 d after treatment in treatment group was obviously lower than that in control group,and its curative rate 7 and 15 d after treatment remarkably higher than that of control group.Conclusion The external application moist exposed burn ointment is a simple and effective nursing measure to treat leukemia patients with perianal infection after chemotherapy,being worthy of clinical popularization and application.
