Six Shu's Principles of "Relational Juxtaposition" and "Not Not This. Not Not That" and a Tang Poem

It seems to be a deficiency that Yan Yu didn't give a clear definition when he commented on theInspired Taste(Xing Qu) of High Tang poetry.A closer analysis,however,reveals that thedeficiencyis actually a reflection of the principles of Six Shu(the Six Categorizations of Chinese characters),which generate the Chinese characters and help to shape the Chinese culture.This paper discusses the principle of Relational Juxtaposition of Chinese characters which embodies the philosophical thinking ofNot not this.Not not thatin a dual interactive mode.It also takes Du Fu's poem A Spring View(Chun Wang) as an example to illustrate the hidden mechanism of textual structure and the construction of the overall feeling and logic(Qing Li) in the poem.Through textual analysis,the paper shows the inner relationship between the principles of Six Shu and the poetic aesthetic characteristics of classical poetry,which indicates that Yan Yu's descriptive comments on High Tang poetry asexquisite and subtle,which can only be understood through feeling and intuition instead of logicis a natural philosophical expression for the principles of Relational Juxtaposition andNot not this.Not not thatof Chinese characters.
