Abstract

The experiment studies the influence of Al-Ti-C on textures and property of Al-Mg-Si aluminum alloy, and analyses the effect mechanism of Al-Ti-C theoretically. The results indicate that the Al-Ti-C (about 0.22%) has the strong grain refining effect on as cast microstructure of Al-Mg-Si alloys. The addition of 0.22% Al-Ti-C master alloy improves by 3% of the electric conductivity, and adding 0.20% Al-Ti-C refiner to Al-Mg-Si alloys can influence the corrosion resistance and the tensile strength significantly.(3.
