Efficacy and safety of physiological yellow teeth bleaching by Beyond cold light whitening kit.

Objective To evaluate the effects and safety of Beyond cold light toothwhitening kit on yellow teeth Meth-ods 428 physiological yellow teeth in 30 patients were bleached with Beyond cold light tooth whitening kit,and 464 physiological yellow teeth in 30 patients were bleached with carbamide peroride as control group.The changesof teeth color were evaluated by VITA shade guide matching,and the sensitivity of teethwere recorded.Results The effective rate(94.44%、92.59%、74.04%) of the experimental group was significantly higher than that(70.92%、66.16%、32%) of the control group(P0.01).7 of 30 patients(13.33%)had slight tooth aches in the experimental group,and 15 of 30 patients(50%)had different degree tooth aches in the control group.There was significant difference between the two group(sP0.05).Conclusion Beyond cold light tooth whitening kit is proved to be an effective,safe and quick method of bleaching physiological yellow teeth.
