Abstract

The effects of chlorimuron-ethyl on soil enzyme activity were investigated, using urease, invertase and alkaline phosphatase as test parameters.5 soil samples(400g) were taken, and incubated at 25℃with 60% relative soil moisture content and 0,3,6,12,24,48 μg·kg~(-1)Chlorimuron-ethyl concentration in soil.Analysis of enzyme activity was conducted in day 1,3,5,7of incubation. The results showed Chlorimuron-ethyl had inhibition or stimulation effect on the activities of the tested soil enzymes. The inhibition ratio of alkaline phosphatase activity was over 26%.But there was no significant effect on soil urease.Compared with urease, invertase was stimulated and inhibited significantly, the ratio reached 20% and 30%,respectively,which demonstrated the fact that invertase was most sensitive to chlorimuron-ethyl.In addition, the activities of all three tested soil enzymes fluctuated with time.
